This braided fabric pumpkin frame is the absolute cutest! Not only that, it is super simple to make! Let me show you how you can make one of your own for this fall 2020 season.
Materials:
- Braided fabric – See how to do this HERE
- Picture painted farmhouse style – See how to do this HERE
- cardboard
- Cute scrap book paper – I’ll be using buffalo check
- Mod Podge
- paint brush
- stick from the backyard
- raffia
- spanish moss
- floral wire
- cute tag
- stamps for tag
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- staple gun (hot glue will work but I prefer using a staple gun)
How to:
Step 1: The frame: Cut the cardboard to fit the frame. Lay the cardboard insert on to the scrap book paper, trace it and cut it out. Mod Podge the scrap book paper to the cardboard insert. Staple the insert to the frame.
Step 2: Take the braided material and hot glue the end where you want the center of your pumpkin to be to the frame. Then begin wrapping the braid around to form a pumpkin, hot glueing as you go.
Step 3: Take some floral wire and wrap it around a pencil to make it curly. Next, wrap the floral wire around the stick and hot glue it to the top of the pumpkin for the stem.
Step 4: Stamp the words fall onto a paper tag and wrap it around the curly floral wire vine. Next, make a cute raffia bow and hot glue it to the base of the pumpkin “stem”.
Step 5: To finish this project off, hot glue some spanish moss around the bottom and sides of the pumpkin.
