Decorative Christmas Candies ( made from empty snuff cans!)
Decorative Christmas Candies ( made from empty snuff cans) My husband is a dipper. You can spare us all the “it’s horrible for your health” talks. He knows and I know, so there’s nothing you’d be telling us that we don’t already know. I hate the amount of money we spend on chewing tobacco so I wanted to create something with the snuff cans that made me feel a like some of that money was going back in our pockets. So this year, instead of spending tons of money on Christmas decor I’m using up some of these snuff cans! I have two amazing DIY’s using snuff cans and first…
Rudolph Applesauce Cups
Rudolph Applesauce Cups Christmas is just around the corner and with that comes snack times at school. I always like to take something that is fun for the kids yet easy for the teachers. I saw many types of these Rudolph applesauce cups online and, although cute, they didn’t seem practical. When making mine I decided to wrap them in a napkin and attach a spoon directly to the applesauce cups. This will give the teachers 2 fewer things to have to pass around the classroom ( spoons & napkins). I also used pipe cleaners and twisty ties as I thought they would be much easier for the kiddos to open…
Fall Leaf Jewelry
Fall Leaf Jewelry I collected some leaves while going for a morning walk a few weeks ago. When I got back home I sat the leaves on my whiteboard and stared at them while finishing up another DIY post. I knew I wanted to do something fun with them but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I had a small container of cement sitting on my craft table and instantly went to google to search what I could do with leaves and cement. I found a TON of cool stuff but the coolest was a project called leaf casting. If you’ve never heard of this then I highly recommend looking it…
