BLP (Bacon, Lettuce, Pickled Egg)
BLP ( Bacon, Lettuce, Pickled Egg) Watch this recipe – Youtube Pin this recipe – Pinterest I thought I would keep this week’s recipe super simple. We have been on the go for the past few weeks and I haven’t had much time to edit new recipes. I do have plenty of cool ones coming soon, though! One of my favorite things to eat after a holiday is one of these BLP’s. It’s a delicious way to use up any left-over pickled eggs before they go bad. Normally, I will add leftover turkey to this sandwich, but we had ham instead of turkey this year for Easter. You could add…

The Lilian (World’s BEST Turkey Sandwich!)
The Lilian Watch this recipe – YouTube (Note: This recipe is not my own. This recipe came from a small country market I used to work at called Mauers’ market. This market no longer exists but I wanted to keep the memories of it alive by sharing this recipe.) Right after I graduated high school I got a job at a local country market. I had some of the best times of my life at that little store. I loved the people I worked with and the customer relationships I made. It was always fun to make those personal connections with our customers. To this day I still remember what some of the…

Lasagna Sandwich on Texas Toast
Lasagna Sandwich on Texas Toast As a kid, I was never really a huge fan of lasagna. My mom used to hide onions in it and then swear up and down she didn’t put any in. Yeah, okay mom (insert eye rolling emoji). I remember folding my garlic bread in half and stuffing it with lasagna or spaghetti to mask the taste of the onions. But as I got older I learned that if I made Lasagna my way, extra mozzarella, hold the onions, I actually loved it! And let’s not forget a nice thick slice of garlic bread or Texas toast to slop up the extra sauce. For me,…

Best Roast Beef Sandwich Eva
Best Roast Beef Sandwich Eva! Guys, I did it! I made the worlds best roast beef sandwich! Okay, maybe not the “world’s” best but it’s good.. dang good. It’s sloppy, gooey, and warm, with a hint of spice. Do not even get me started on the cheese. This is the kind of sandwich you want to make for your friends, you know, the ones who don’t judge you. The friends that don’t care that you ate 2 sandwiches in your jammies at noon while binge-watching the office. Because those are the friends that will join you in your shenanigans. And because THOSE are the friends who deserve to indulge in the…

Oven roasted Chicken Club on a Bagel
Brain Storming with Mom If you read last weeks DIY post how to dye coffee filters, you know this months recipes will be all about sandwiches. Because baseball season’s upon us I wanted to focus on meals that were quick and easy. Sandwiches seemed to be the perfect fit. Although, I didn’t want your basic grilled cheese or Sweet Lebanon bologna with mustard and chips ( yes, that’s a thing here in PA). So I went to my moms and we came up with some pretty stellar ideas. Starting with this Oven Roasted Chicken Club on a Bagel. I explained to my mom that I had to have at least…

Ham Salad Sliders with Spicy Mustard Sauce
Ham Salad Sliders with Spicy Mustard Sauce I served these ham salad sliders at our super bowl party along with some other recipes that came by special request including my Buckin’ Bronco Nachos. I always like serving my recipes to a small crowd to get their reaction before posting them to my website. And I am proud to say that these sliders got rave reviews! While I was preparing the Sliders, I heard a few grumbles coming from the living room about the pickled eggs. I thought I would be nice and make a few without pickled eggs. Well, no surprise to me, the only ones left over were the ones…

Buffalo Turkey Sliders
These little sliders are a great way to use up left over holiday turkey. Christmas Day is celebrated at my house so I always have lots of left over turkey. After Christmas dinner my mom pulls all the turkey off the bone for me. I just throw the left overs in a freezer bag and pull it whenever to make these tasty little appetizers Ingredients: 3 1/2-4 cups turkey chopped (can substitute for chicken) 1 cup mayo 1/4 cup buttermilk ranch 1/4 cup franks red hot buffalo sauce 1/2 celery stalk chopped 1 pack sweet Hawaiian rolls 1/2 pound bacon Directions: In a bowl mix turkey, celery, mayo, ranch, buffalo sauce,…
