creativity and personalize it to my liking.

Using some basic crafting supplies that you may already have on hand, such as burlap fabric
for the wings and a simple piece of craft-wood for the body and face, this wooden angel is
not only adorable but also budget-friendly. This DIY project is perfect for those who enjoy
getting crafty during the holiday season.

Imagine how lovely this rustic wooden angel would look nestled among your Christmas
decorations. The possibilities are endless! Additionally, this charming DIY angel craft could
also make a thoughtful and unique gift for someone special.

So why not give this cute wooden Christmas angel craft a try? You’ll be amazed at how easy
and enjoyable it is to create something so beautiful with just a few simple materials. Get
ready to embrace the joy of crafting and add a touch of homemade charm to your Christmas
celebrations. Here’s how to make your rustic DIY wooden Angel

Materials needed:

  • Wood piece from dollar tree
  • Paint colors of your choice ( I used lite mocha and aqua)
  • Antique wax
  • Burlap Ribbon
  • Twine
  • Ultra Fine point black sharpie
  • Ribbon of your choice
  • Pine picks
  • pit berries
  • Spanish Moss
  • Mini Grape vine wreath
  • blush

Step1: First, let’s paint the Angel, I painted the bottom half aqua. I left a small space at the top for the head of the Angel and I use the color light mocha for that.

Step 2: Once the paint was completely dry I went over it with my sanding block. And then took some antique wax and dry, brushed it over the entire angel.

Step 3: Take a little piece of twine and tie it in the in a knot, and glue it to the back. This will act as the hanger for the angel.

Step 4: Take some burlap ribbon and fold it in half then cinch it in the middle tie it with a piece of twine. This is going to act as the angels wings glue it to the back of the angel.

Step 5: Add some greenery, and a messy bow where the light mocha and aqua paint meet. This will cover any messes from the paint meeting while also, making your angel look super cute.

Step 6: Using an ultra fine black sharpie marker, draw a simple face on the Angel.

Step 7: Finally add some Spanish moss for hair and a little halo. I used a grapevine wreath for the halo that I had to tear apart and reshape down to a smaller size.
