I’ve been really into Dollar Tree crafts lately. It amazes me how, with a little TLC,  an ordinary item can be transformed into something beautiful. I’ve also been crushin’ on chalk paint. I love the dullness of it and how it really screams farmhouse.

These clay pots are so easy to make and look cute sitting just about anywhere. They are also very inexpensive and only take about 5 minutes to make. These clay pots would be great wedding decorations or to give as gifts!

Materials:

  • Clay pots from Dollar Tree
  • 3 small bundles of flowers from Dollar Tree
  • wire Cutters
  • Coffee Sticker ( I found these at the Dollar General)
  • Chalk Paint & Paint Brush
  • Raffia
  • Hot glue gun & Glue Sticks
  • Spanish moss

Step 1: Begin by painting the pot. To achieve this look I dipped my paint brush in the paint, then brushed it off on a piece of parchment paper before applying it to the clay pot.

Step 2: Because it is a clay pot, the paint dries very quickly. Once the pot was dry I added my coffee sticker and a raffia bow. I had to use my hot glue gun to secure the raffia.

Step 3: Next I added my flowers. To do this I used wire cutters to trim them to size. I then arranged them in the clay pot and stuffed Spanish moss around them.
