Keep empty paper towel holders to store Christmas lights TANGLE FREE!
Every year when I go to decorate there is a fight between me and the lights… and the lights usually win. Not anymore! While fighting with my lights I saw some empty toilet paper rolls that I have saved for crafting and a light bulb went off! Why not use empty paper towel rolls to store my lights? So I tested it and it worked! I will be saving all my empty paper towel rolls this holiday season. Next year I WILL win the fight with the Christmas lights! Let me show you how to do this
What you will need:
Empty paper towel roll
string of lights (I believe mine were a 100 light strand)
1.) First feed one of the ends through the paper towel holder
2.) Next start rolling the lights around the empty paper towel holder
3.) Once you are finished rolling it will look like this
4.) When you are done rolling tuck that end into the paper towel holder
And there you have it! An easy inexpensive way to store your Christmas Lights! =)
