DIY Burlap Wreath
I have been wanting to show you how to make this DIY Burlap Wreath for some time now. I thought now would be the perfect time! I have this wreath decorated for Christmas but it can easily be changed up for any season. Just gently pull out any embellishments and and new for the next season. You will get a better idea of how to do this by watching the video tutorial below. In the video I do speed things up a bit. I want you to know that this wreath is fairly easy to make but is a little time consuming. It will probably take a little bit of…

DIY present for outdoor decorating
Hey, friends! Today I want to show you a really simple craft that my mom made a few years ago. This DIY present for outdoor decorating is the PERFECT way to use up some of those amazon packages. This DIY takes not time at all to make. You can whip these cute DIY presents up and decorate your front porch with them before your husband will ever know you bought anything, haha. Because I plan to make a few of these, I bought the largest table cloth they had. They were all the same price so I figured why not?! Every year for Christmas we buy a real tree…

Candy cane ornament
When I went to Walmart the other day they had a big display of napkins and paper plates right inside the door. These candy cane napkins popped out at me right away! I knew they had to come home with me so I threw a pack in my cart. It didn’t take me long to figure out what I was going to do with them. I thought they would make a super cute, whimsical like ornament! I had some red tinsel left over from a previous craft that complimented these napkins perfectly. I also had a few extra wood planks form the Dollar Tree that I knew would be the…

Present ornament
Ok, friends… I legit went to the store just to buy pudding to make these cute present ornaments, haha! I knew the pudding boxes would be the perfect size for them and who doesn’t love some pudding? The only downside to this is that when I go to make the pudding, I will have to google the instructions on how to make it, LOL. To wrap the pudding box, I used a mens dress shirt that I bought at Goodwill. Men’s dress shirts are awesome for crafting, by the way! Any time I see a cute one, I snag it up for my craft stash. But, before making a special…

Dollar Tree lantern makeover
The other day I was at my friend, Jess’s, house and she was showing me some of her Christmas stuff. She also showed me a few things that her dad “grunged” for her. I asked her how he did and and she told me he used this multi-colored texturized paint. I told her that I would be looking for all the things that I can “grunge” this week, haha. Starting with this Dollar Tree lantern makeover! My first thought was to head to the Dollar Tree. I remembered seeing patterns there. They were cute, but just no my style. Because of that, I never thought to grab them, that is,…

DIY Stocking wall hanger
This DIY Stocking wall hanger is a craft I made years ago. I honestly can’t believe I never did a blog post on it because it is so easy! I really think you are going to love this one! One of the main items you will need for this craft is some baby socks. Obviously, if you have little ones that have out grown their socks, I would use those. But, because my Kiddo is 9 (today is his birthday!) I didn’t have any and had to buy some. I actually bought mine at Target because the Dollar General did not have them. I would definitely recommend checking the Dollar…

Dollar Tree tinsel stocking makeover
I passed this Dollar Tree tinsel stocking a few times before finally throwing some in my cart. I knew I could do something cute with it, but wasn’t sure what. After Dollar Tree I stopped at Goodwill and found some cute mens shirts, that’s when my wheels started turning! I absolutely loved the print on this grey mens shirt, and knew it was exactly what I needed to dress up the tinsel stocking! It did take a little fiddling with to get it to look the way I wanted but the final result is stunning, in my opinion. I already have it sitting on my corner cabinet with the…

DIY Faux Snowballs
When I was a kid my mom used to make these DIY faux snowballs all the time. She is pretty crafty, so that’s where I get it, lol! I love this faux snowball project because there’s so many different ways you can decorate with them! You could stick them in some garland, a dough bowl, or even one of the very popular tiered trays all the crafters have been making. You could also insert some white eye hooks and make a loop with some fishing line so you can hang them from your Christmas tree. Now, I do want to give you a fair warning, this project is…
